In this context, a "un-building revolution" is needed, focusing on intra-city data, local potentials and needs, access to public services, and community building.
In El-Kahlifa, a congested neighborhood suffering from lack of public spaces, we mapped, observed and analysed urban dynamics and people stories to define temporary public spaces and walkable areas, as well as activities and opportune interventions that enhance neighbourhood potentials.
