Connecting the dots
In this episode we are talking to Farah Makki, Urbego, and Mohab Saber, El Madina, about their cross-cultural collaboration in Karmouz, Alexandria.
The project explores the role of art and culture in tackling social issues. More specifically, it focuses on rebuilding a valuable cultural identity through a subtle shift in mentality -- in this case, one’s perception of the space and environment they inhabit.
Urbego talk of the town is a monthly podcast dealing with everything related to the urban. In every episode we tackle a different topic concerning our cities: from public squares, through accessibility and sustainability, to art and culture.
